Tűzhangya ocean rowing boat

The rowing-boat of Gábor Rakonczay and Andrea Pálos, who crossed the Atlantic Ocean with it. The lamination plan was calculated by the Flaar workshop. The low weight was extremely important because the boat is man-powered. Since the cost limits were pretty low, the boat is made of epoxy resin with glass fiber reinforcement, and a PVC foam core material. The boat has proven: the 8 meter long 160 kg hull survived a 10th grade storm (10/12) at the Canary Islands without any problem.
